These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RegarSamaj mobile application, website and related services.
By registering for an account or using RegarSamaj, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
RegarSamaj is a community-focused matrimonial platform designed to help individuals and families within the Regar community discover suitable matrimonial matches.
The platform provides users with tools to create profiles, browse profiles, save favourites, submit profile claims, request corrections, report inappropriate content and communicate with our administration team.
RegarSamaj acts only as a platform for matrimonial introductions and does not act as a marriage bureau, matchmaking agent or legal representative.
To use RegarSamaj you must:
Be legally eligible for marriage under applicable laws.
Be at least 18 years of age or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction.
Provide accurate and truthful information.
Use the platform only for genuine matrimonial purposes.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
When creating an account you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information.
Verify your mobile number through OTP.
Keep your login credentials secure.
Update your information whenever it changes.
Accept responsibility for all activity performed using your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to:
Provide truthful and accurate information.
Upload only photographs that you own or have permission to use.
Respect the privacy of other users.
Use the platform only for lawful matrimonial purposes.
Treat other members respectfully.
You must not:
Create fake profiles.
Impersonate another person.
Upload misleading information.
Harass, threaten or abuse other users.
Upload offensive or illegal content.
Advertise businesses or commercial services.
Use automated tools to collect profile information.
Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the platform.
Some profiles displayed within RegarSamaj are Community Shared Profiles.
These profiles are created by authorised administrators using matrimonial information voluntarily shared by individuals, their parents, guardians or family members through trusted community WhatsApp groups, matrimonial directories or other recognised community sources.
Community Shared Profiles are intended solely to facilitate matrimonial introductions within the Regar community.
If you believe a Community Shared Profile belongs to you or your family, you may submit a request to:
Claim the profile.
Correct profile information.
Request profile removal.
All requests are reviewed by the RegarSamaj administration team before any action is taken.
RegarSamaj reserves the right to request additional information to verify ownership before approving any claim.
Once a Community Shared Profile has been successfully verified and approved, ownership of that profile is transferred to the registered user who submitted the claim.
The profile will thereafter be identified as a Claimed Profile.
The registered profile owner becomes responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the profile information.
Users are responsible for all information and photographs uploaded to their profiles.
By uploading content, you confirm that:
You own the content or have permission to use it.
The information is accurate.
The content does not violate any law or third-party rights.
You retain ownership of your content.
By uploading content to RegarSamaj, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, store and process that content solely for operating and improving the platform.
RegarSamaj provides a platform for matrimonial introductions only.
We do not guarantee:
Marriage outcomes.
Relationship compatibility.
Successful communication.
Engagement or marriage.
Accuracy or completeness of user-provided information.
Users are solely responsible for independently verifying information before making matrimonial decisions.
Users may report profiles that:
Contain false information.
Use unauthorised photographs.
Are fraudulent.
Are abusive or offensive.
Violate these Terms.
Users may also block other profiles.
Blocking is private and the blocked user will not be notified.
RegarSamaj reviews reports but does not guarantee any specific outcome.
RegarSamaj reserves the right to suspend, restrict or permanently remove accounts that:
Violate these Terms.
Violate Community Guidelines.
Submit false information.
Engage in harassment or abuse.
Attempt fraud or impersonation.
Repeatedly violate platform policies.
Misuse Community Shared Profiles.
Where appropriate, accounts may be suspended without prior notice.
Unless otherwise stated, all software, branding, logos, graphics, application design, text and other platform content are the property of RegarSamaj.
Users may not copy, modify, distribute or reproduce any part of the platform without prior written permission.
Your use of RegarSamaj is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Please read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand how your personal information is collected, used and protected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RegarSamaj shall not be liable for:
Decisions made based on information displayed within the platform.
User disputes.
Matrimonial outcomes.
Losses arising from user interactions.
Temporary service interruptions.
Technical failures.
Unauthorised actions performed by third parties.
We continually improve RegarSamaj.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, functionality or services at any time without prior notice.
We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
When significant changes are made, the Last Updated date will be revised and, where appropriate, users may be notified through the application.
Continued use of RegarSamaj after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from the use of RegarSamaj shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
